Love and Sacrifice

O come, Holy Spirit, dwell in me and burn away my sins from my heart, turning it into pure gold.

Even though fire brings pain to the flesh, it brings joy to the heart, knowing that after its incineration, it will be most similar to Your Heart, Lord, You who suffered and died on earth to save our souls.

For every prick of the pin, every broken bone, or every disease, I offer my sufferings to You, Lord, to unite with You on the cross for the retribution of my sins and the salvation of souls.
