The Flash of Light

As the sun falls and the stars arise, so do we. Our lives are a blink of an eye, a flashing light, a wisp of wind that leaves no trace.

What have we on this earth that is lasting and will help us on our journey home? It is love for God that we will have with us, and with love for God, we also have love for all people and creatures.

God is in all, so as each day enlightens our hearts and the sky, let us pray that we may be well prepared for our journey with all that is needed: the love of God.
